Evangelism

Saturday we visited the Open Bible Church in Kemecse.  The service we attended was a special evangelism service was held outside in the church yard.  It was a hot day, in the upper 80's, and the sun was beating down, but almost 40 people sat patiently through the two hour service.  They kindly offered us seats in the shade and made sure everyone had water.

Pastor Gulyás preached from John 4 about the woman at the well and a young man and middle-aged woman responded to the invitation to give their lives to the Lord.  That was the best part of the whole day.  Then several people responded to the invitation for us, the American guests, to pray for them.

This dear church was blessed to receive gifts from America to buy their own church building.  They are in the process of renovating the house they bought and hope to have a dedication service in August.  They have two INSTE groups and are pursuing God with all their hearts.  It was great to be with them.
