Sister Visit

We were so happy to have Jim and Delores Winegar (Nancy's sister) visit us last week for a few days.  We took a litte vacation time and showed them around Hungary.  Here are a few pictures from our time together.
Of course, we took them around Debrecen and Budapest, but we also took them to the Hortobagy National Park.  There happened to be a Gulyás Versény (Cowboy Contest) that day and we were able to sit in on the traditional costume portion of the contest.
The only problem that day was drizzle and rain.  Jim and Dee were good sports, though, and endured the rain without complaint.  We even took a tour of the park in a covered wagon in the rain.
Poppies were blooming all over the countryside, so we stopped to take pictures.
It was very windy our last day in Budapest, but we did our best to see as many sights as possible including getting this picture from Fisherman's Bastion.
Of course, we ate a lot of delicious food.  Jim and Dee sampled many kinds of Hungarian food and enjoyed almost all of it, but the best meal we had was with Pastor Mihály and Márika Gulyás the first evening Jim and Dee were with us.

Thank you, Jim and Dee for your visit.  We had a wonderful time. Thank you especially for your testimony on Sunday morning at the Open Bible Church and for praying for so many people after the service.  God bless you!
