Trip Summary

Well, we are back in Hungary, but we had a great two weeks of convention and visiting with family. Our trip began with spending the weekend in Austin, MN on Father's day. Our youngest son Matt and his wife Mandy drove to Des Moines from Michigan, and we all rode together to Austin to visit with our oldest son Paul and his wife Kate.

Mike spoke at the church and it was great to be able to see old friends once again. We want to thank Pastors Bill & Miala Glaser of the Living Bible Church in Austin, MN for a great weekend.

    Hi Mike and Nancy,
Remember me from about 28 years ago in Austin at the Open Bible Church there. I was Donna Beggs then and my Melissa was 4. It is so great that you are able be in missions now Mike as that was such a passion of your's. I've been on two short term trip with International Messingers (IM) to Hunary in the late 1990s. I loved it but I taught at English camps and I had trouble just getting the names right. Stepheny says you are most doing okay with the language...it is a tough on too. It was fun to see your grandson's photo on the blog. He looks a lot like his daddy did when he was little. I'm married again and have been for 25 years now. We had a son who is 9 1/2 years younger than Melissa and he had two boys slightly older than Melissa on his own. Now it is just the two of us and we sure enjoy it. God is good. In Him, Donna Beggs Haxton

Donna: It is good to hear from you. We definitely remember you (how could we forget our wonderful experiences in Austin?). You mention Stephany. Is that our niece, Stephany Reeves, you are referring to? Is so, it really is a small world. Now that you have friends here in Hungary, you will have to come back for a visit, right?
