Gávavencsellő Visit

Worshiping outside

Waiting for the sound system to be set up inside
We enjoyed visiting the Open Bible Church in Gávavencsellő Sunday.  This church has gone through some tough times the past few months, but it was good to worship together with those who are pressing in for more of God. The service began under an awning in the yard of one of the church members, but about halfway through the worship time, a storm came up and the entire service was moved inside.  More than 30 people squeezed into two rooms and the service continued. Mike preached a great sermon on responding to hurt in a godly manner and Misha Tovtin interpreted.  After the service, Misha heard some of the young men say that they enjoyed hearing a "real" preacher.

When we were finished, we were invited to take a look at the future church building.  This house was purchased recently and several men are spending every available moment remodeling it and getting it ready for church services.  They hope to be finished in a month.

May God continue to bless these beautiful people!
