More Church Visits

Oh, my!  We are getting behind on posting, but we have had some wonderful church visits recently.

Fort Des Moines Church.  It's been cold and snowy in Iowa.
February 9 we visited Fort Des Moines Open Bible Church.  It felt like we were coming home since we attended here for a few months right before we left for the first time to live in Hungary.  And we received a warm welcome home, too.
Aurora pastors Mike and Nancy Thomason listening to Mike's presentation.
Wednesday, February 12, we traveled to Aurora, Illinois, to visit our friends at the River of Life Christian Center.  We drove through snow for a couple of hours, but it was worth it to spend some time with these lovely people.

Sunday, February 19, we were welcomed at Experience Church in Des Moines' East Side.  Nancy grew up near here and had fun talking with fellow East-Siders.  But worshiping together was even better.

At each of these churches, we enjoyed participating in powerful, uplifting worship.

And we were blessed to see some friends we were not expecting to meet.
Amy Terpening co-led worship at Fort Des Moines Church.  Amy is the daughter of some of our friends from college days.
Mike and Pam Lumbard, missionaries in Trinidad were at Experience Church along with Mike's parents Del and Joan Lumbard.  They listened intently to the presentation.
Our next stop will be Grace Bible Church in Ames, Iowa, on Sunday, February 23.  Looking forward to another great service and meeting friends and making new friends there.
